Telehealth Consultation Policy At Sunny Coast Dental , we strive to provide convenient and high-quality virtual dental consultations. Please review our telehealth policy to ensure a smooth experience. Scheduling & Cancellations - Patients may schedule telehealth consultations online. - Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will receive a full refund. - Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable. - If a patient fails to attend the scheduled consultation without prior notice (no-show), the fee is non-refundable. Technology & Connectivity - Patients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a working device with video and audio capabilities. - If a technical issue prevents the consultation from occurring, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule at no additional charge. Scope of Telehealth Services - Telehealth consultations are intended for general dental advice, follow-up visits, and preliminary assessments. - A virtual consultation does not replace in-person exams or emergency dental care. If further evaluation or treatment is needed, an in-office visit may be required. Privacy & Confidentiality - All telehealth consultations are conducted in compliance with AHPRA guideline and patient confidentiality guidelines. - Patients should participate from a private and secure location to maintain confidentiality.
